6 weekly 90-minute meetings

(The facilitators will be in touch to determine exact days and times)

When you start a New Worshiping Community, the focus is entirely on nourishing the community to grow into the gift to the world that God is calling it to be. Then at some point, you may feel called to other things, and even to move on. After pouring so much of your heart and time into creating the community, discerning whether (and when) the Spirit is calling you to end your time with your NWC is a complex journey. And like most journeys of discernment, it can be helpful to have a community to share with along the way.

We are creating a small cohort specifically for NWC leaders in the 1001 movement who are actively discerning whether it’s time to move on – should you stay, or should you go? We will meet once a week for 6 weeks. During each 90 minute conversation, we will hear diverse stories from other NWC leaders who discerned that it was time for them to move on from the community they started, and participants will have time to share with one another where they are in their own discernment process.

If you’re interested in participating, or just learning more, we’d love to hear from you. Please note that your participation in this cohort will remain confidential and known only to the cohort facilitators and necessary 1001 staff. Please fill in the information below and submit. We will be in touch soon with more information.

Please contact the 1001 Associate for Training, Rev Jeya So with any specific questions or concerns.
